Beth A. Buchanan, DVM

                                    Dr. Beth A. Buchanan       logo.jpg

Dr. Buchanan is a native Floridian who has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1984.  She received her undergraduate degree and veterinary degree from The University of Florida (Go Gators!).  She worked as an associate veterinarian in several practices before co-owning a cat hospital in Tampa.  She eventually moved back over to the east coast.  Dr. Buchanan worked here in Brevard county as a relief veterinarian while planning The Cat Doctor.  "Dr. B.", as some call her, owns 13 cats! Seven of the lucky cats live at our clinic.  She loves all animals, but has a special passion for cats! The Cat Doctor opened in March of 2004.  Dr. Buchanan felt that a hospital just for cats would be her dream job.  She thinks that cats are such unique creatures, which makes them interesting to work with.  Needless to say, her dream job has become a reality!

Elise - Receptionist / Assistant

Elise began working here in the fall of 2007. She had worked at an animal hospital in southwest Florida for several years before moving to Brevard County. She is primarily a receptionist but she pitches in to help the techs when they need another hand. Elise has a big dog named C.J.

Natalie -Technician / Receptionist

Natalie began with us in the fall of 2006. Dr. Buchanan used to work
with her at another animal hospital several years ago. Natalie is attending
the veterinary technician program at BCC. She is currently working
part-time around her school schedule.

Shannon - Technician / Receptionist

Shannon began working with us during the summer of 2006. When she was
18 she began volunteering at an animal hospital.  Since then she has
worked at several animal hospitals honing her skills. Now,  four years
later she is an experienced technician and also helps out as a
receptionist. She's always been a "cat person" and hopes to work with wild cats some day. Shannon has 2 dogs, 5 cats and a boyfriend!
